Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before booking any services with Waste Away Logistics (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a service (Garden Waste, Domestic Waste, House Clearance, or Small House Removal), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

Waste Away Logistics provides on-demand waste clearance, garden waste removal, domestic waste collection, and small house removal/moving services. We are a registered waste carrier and comply with all local environmental and disposal regulations.

2. Customer Responsibilities & Declarations

By booking our services, you (the "Customer") agree and warrant that:

• Ownership of Waste/Items: You are either the legal owner of the waste and items being cleared/moved or have explicit, lawful authority from the owner to authorize their removal and disposal. You agree to indemnify Waste Away Logistics against any third-party claims regarding ownership.

• Description of Waste: You have provided an accurate description of the volume, weight, and nature of the waste or items.

• Safe Access: You will provide safe, unobstructed access to the property and the items to be removed. Our teams will not operate in environments deemed unsafe or hazardous.

3. Strictly Prohibited & Hazardous Waste

Waste Away Logistics does not collect or transport hazardous waste. You agree that the waste will not contain any prohibited items, including but not limited to:

• Asbestos

• Chemicals, solvents, oils, or toxic paints

• Loose batteries or gas canisters

• Biological, medical, or clinical waste

• Explosive or highly flammable materials

Note: If prohibited items are discovered hidden within the waste, we reserve the right to immediately halt the service, leave the items on-site, and report the incident to environmental authorities if legally required. The customer will be liable for any fines, contamination cleanup costs, or specialized disposal fees incurred by the Company.

4. Pricing, Quotations, and Payments

• Quotations: Any quote provided over the phone, via email, or online is an estimate based on the information provided by the Customer.

• On-Site Adjustments: If our team arrives and determines the volume, weight, or difficulty of the clearance/removal exceeds the original description, we reserve the right to issue a revised price before beginning work.

• Payment Terms: Payment must be secured or paid in full [insert your rule, e.g., at the time of booking / upon completion of the job].

5. Limitation of Liability (Damage & Loss)

• Property Damage: Waste clearances and furniture removals carry inherent risks. While our team exercises maximum care, Waste Away Logistics is not liable for minor, unavoidable scratches, scuffs, or marks to walls, doors, or flooring when moving large items through tight spaces, unless caused by gross negligence.

• Valuables & Removals: For house removals and clearances, it is the Customer’s responsibility to remove and secure all high-value items (e.g., jewelry, cash, important legal documents, small electronics) prior to our team's arrival. We accept no liability for the loss or damage of un-secured valuables.

• Disposal Finality: Once items are loaded onto our vehicles for clearance, they are legally classified as waste and processed for disposal or recycling. We cannot retrieve or return any items once they have left the property.

6. Statutory Compliance & Duty of Care

Waste Away Logistics operates strictly under [insert your local regulation, e.g., the UK Environmental Protection Act 1990 / local State Waste Management laws]. We will provide a Waste Transfer Note (or local equivalent receipt) upon collection, proving that your waste has been legally transferred to a licensed carrier.
